SISTER MARY AMNESIA is truly a lost soul.  She arrived at the convent in her habit without a clue as to her identity… recalling only that a crucifix fell on her head.  It has been said that she resembles Brianna Diodati, who learned ventriloquism when she became a Little Sister of Hoboken and previously performed in multiple Calgary productions including the following: The Crucible, Once On This Island, A Slight Case of Murder, and The Least Offensive Play.  You may also find her acting on the University of Lethbridge stage in the fall in the world premiere of the play entitled Exia.  Brianna would like to take this time to say thank you to all of her friends and family who have been giving her so much love and support.  She hopes you enjoy the show and God Bless!

SISTER MARY LEO came to the order from an Illinois farm. She entered the convent to dedicate her life to God through the dance. Many people think that she took her name from the famous “leotard,” but that is not true. She is named after her Uncle Leo, a notorious Chicago gangster. Sister thought that by taking his name, the Lord would go easy on him. She is a novice and has much to learn. Before joining the Order, Sister was known as Katie Musgrave, who tested her dancing ability by appearing in Footloose (Music Box Productions), Louder Than Before (Music Box…) and A Christmas Tale (Southridge Church). Prior to taking her vow to poverty, Sister supported herself by portraying Frenchy in Grease (Kaleidoscope Productions), Jasmine in Aladdin (Kaleidoscope...) and the Troll in The Neverending Story (University of Lethbridge Theatre). Sister has also been spotted practicing her singing voice, and teaching voice, in several locations across the province. Sister would like to thank the Lord for the talents He has blessed her with. Amen!

SISTER MARY ROBERT ANNE was a child of a disadvantaged Brooklyn family.
After dropping out of Verna's Cashier School, Reverend Mother took pity on poor little Kentalina and accepted her into the Little Sisters of Hobokon, where she became Sister Mary Robert Anne. Today she is one of the most popular sisters with New Jersey kids because she speaks their language. Reverend Mother regrets the fact that most of this language is unprintable. Sister Robert Anne had a very checkered career prior to entering the convent, including acting stints in Grease, Festival of the King, Footloose, A Time For Christmas and Broadway Bound. The nuns rarely discuss Kentalina's 3 year stint in the Essex County Correctional Facility.

SISTER MARY HUBERT is the Mistress of Novices, training new recruits.  Her position is not unlike a drill sergeant, however, she is the first to point out that her approach is more gentle- but firm.  Sister is a little “off-the-wall” at times, but this has been attributed to the fact that she was trampled by a camel that went beserk during the annual nativity pageant help in the leper colony.  (She was portraying one of the three wise men.)  Sister Mary Hubert is the former Michelle Deters Nowosad.  “Mrs. D.N” was last seen as the music teacher at Winston Churchill School, and was previously a voice instructor at Lakeland College.  Her role as the preacher’s wife in Footloose led her towards the convent, where she still breaks out her dance moves from time to time.

Prior to entering the convent, SISTER MARY REGINA was known as Jason M Barnsley, a Lloydminster local who was deemed eligible to take his nun vows after an unfortunate incident with a cuisanart. Jason left Lloydminster upon graduation from LCHS in 1995 and traveled to Pennsylvania where he lived and worked for 17 years. He studied Church Music, Organ Performance and Theatre at the University of Kutztown, north of Philadelphia, PA before working as a pipe organ builder and church musician for 7 years. In 2007, Jason moved to Pittsburgh to continue his church music ministry, and to work selling Steinway Pianos. During those 17 years, Jason was involved in several academic, professional and semi-professional theatre productions, both onstage and off stage. Some notable roles included William Barfee in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Senor Nacarelli in The Light in The Piazza, Jean in Eugene Ionescos’ Rhinoceros and Paul in A Taffetta Wedding. Jason has also Directed and Musically Directed several productions, including Triumph of Love, Damn Yankees and Stephen Sondheim’s Company as well as designing and building sets, lighting and costumes for many of those productions. Jason has also been working on a one-man show called And So it Goes: Life’s Journey Through Song, which Jason recently performed at Grace United Church, where he is serving as organist. Jason wishes to thank his family for their dedication and support.
